This unit covers various aspects of using a computer to create and manipulate text. Pupils will become familiar with using a keyboard and mouse to enter and remove text. They will consider how to change the look of their text, and will be able to justify their reasoning for making these changes.
You will learn to add and remove text using a keyboard.
A keyboard can type letters, numbers, spaces and new lines. The cursor controls where the keyboard adds or removes text.

Mistake: Backspace removes a whole sentence. Correction: Backspace removes one character at a time so that minormistakes can be corrected quickly.
