In this unit pupils will use knowledge of the value of coins and apply their number facts and counting skills to calculate the total value of the coins in a set of 2p 5p 10p coins.

  • Coins can be added in any order and the total value will remain the same.
  • It can be easier to add coins if you move them, group together coins of the same value or start with the greatest value.
