This unit introduces pupils to developing their own voice. They will learn about key components in shaping their artistic voice, including research, reflection and refining ideas. The unit takes them on a journey of discovery leading to planning a final piece.
You will learn to understand and reflect on the influences that shape an artistic voice.
An artist's voice is distinctive and shaped by influences and ongoing experimentation. An artistic voice is not fixed.

Mistake: All artists make art about their intenral and external influences. Correction: Some artists make art that is obviously about their influences and some don't.
