Year 10 - Art and design
3D Design
This unit introduces pupils to developing their own voice. They will learn about key components in shaping their artistic voice, including research, reflection and refining ideas. The unit takes them on a journey of discovery leading to planning a final piece.
You will learn to create an exploratory sketchbook that reflects your artistic voice.
A sketchbook is a space to think, plan, collect, and test ideas. Sketchbooks show how your ideas grow through notes, samples, and drawings.
a tool for artists to experiment, record ideas and develop their creative process.
Mistake: Sketchbooks have a set format, and must be presented in the 'right' way. Correction: Sketchbooks are a personal record of your own creative journey, but in the GCSE course they also allow you to gain marks, so sometimes we recommend working in a certain way to help you achieve.
