Year 10 - German
Lifestyle and wellbeing: positive Lebensentscheidungen
This unit revises word patterns, plurals, direct and indirect object pronouns and interrogative and demonstrative adjectives (welch-) and (jed-). Nominative and accusative use of abstract adjectival neuter nouns after viel and wenig are taught in the context of healthy living and lifestyle choices.
You will learn to use singular and plural nouns and appropriate quantifiers to talk about healthy eating.
There are nine rules for forming plurals in German. Uncountable nouns do not have a plural form.
refers to more than one. Say or write it in a short sentence so you use the word actively.
Mistake: 'Viel' and 'viele' and 'wenig' and 'wenige' are interchangeable. Correction: Use 'viel' and 'wenig' with uncountable nouns (i.e., you cannot put a number in front of it) and use 'viele' and 'wenige' with countable nouns (i.e., you can put a number in front of it).
