Year 10 - History
Pevensey Castle
In this unit, pupils learn about the historical environment, choosing the relevant site study to complement their understanding of Norman England.
You will learn to describe Pevensey's geography.
Pevensey is located on the south coast of England. Pevensey has a shallow beach.
a landform that extends from a mainland and is surrounded by water on three sides.
Mistake: The natural features of England haven't changed much in 1000 years. Correction: England has changed enormously in 1000 years! The coastline has shifted so that it would be unrecognisable for a traveller from 1000 years ago, and other natural features, such as The Fens, have shrunk and changed considerably.
