In this unit pupils will learn about key beliefs in the worldview of Islam such as the nature of Allah, prophethood and the role of texts. They will gain a critical understanding of Islamic theology and key stories that underpin it.
You will learn to explain what Muslim beliefs are about the Last Day, resurrection and judgement, and their importance.
Muslims believe that there will be a day of judgement when Allah will decide how people spend their afterlife. Most Muslims believe this will be a physical and spiritual resurrection. This is supported by Surah 17.
