In this unit pupils will develop designing and making principles knowledge with an explicit focus on exam technique.
You will learn to explain features of different manufacturing systems.
Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) are designed to adapt quickly to changes in product type or volume. Just-in-Time (JIT) is a production strategy where materials and components are delivered exactly when needed.
