People and lifestyle: Révisions: Les études
This unit continues to revisit known grammar and vocabulary from the course, this time focusing on future and conditional verb formation alongside the present tense. In addition it secures knowledge of verbs followed by infinitives, infinitives used as nouns, and a range of prepositions.
You will learn to refer to present and future situations in the context of your studies using a range of verbs followed by the infinitive.
To form the 2-verb future, use part of the verb 'aller' in the present tense plus the infinitive. Conjugate the 1-verb future of -er verbs by adding the endings -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont to the infinitive.
a form of the verb giving its general meaning. Say or write it in a short sentence so you use the word actively.
Mistake: All verbs use their infinitive to form the stem in the future tense. Correction: There are key irregular verb stems to learn for the future tense. Confident use of these verbs will add greatly to overall accuracy and help students to express themselves confidently in the future tense.
