Year 11 - German
Media and technology: Wiederholung: Online Leben
This unit continues to revisit known grammar and vocabulary from the entire course, this time focusing on question formation and application of knowledge in extended speaking.
You will learn to categorise vocabulary to aid mastery, ask and answer questions in three tenses, and take part confidently in a conversation about life online.
To form a question in the perfect tense, swap the auxiliary verb 'haben' or 'sein' with the subject. To form a question in the future tense, swap the part of 'werden' with the subject. The infinitive stays at the end.
a form of 'haben' or 'sein' used to form the perfect tense, or a form of 'werden' used to form the future tense. Say or write it in a short sentence so you use the word actively.
Mistake: Like in a role-play, I should keep answers short and concise in a conversation. Correction: Conversation answers should be developed and extended with at least three verb clauses.
