In this unit pupils will learn about key beliefs in the worldview of Islam such as the nature of Allah, prophethood and the role of texts. They will gain a critical understanding of Islamic theology and key stories that underpin it.
You will learn to explain the role and importance of the Prophet Muhammad in Islam.
All of the prophets in Islam had a message of the oneness of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad is given the title the Seal of the Prophets.

Mistake: That Prophet Muhammad wrote the words of the Qur'an down once it was revealed to him. Correction: The Prophet Muhammad recited, or said aloud, the words of the Qur'an but this was written down by those who had memorised the revelations.
