Paul Stephenson was born in 1937 and was evacuated when he was three years old because of the Second World War. He lived in the countryside for the next seven years and enjoyed paddling in streams and hunting rabbits.

Mistake: That evacuation was a negative experience for all children. Correction: Lots of children had healthier diets, more freedom and enjoyed their lives in the countryside.
