In this unit pupils will represent the 5-times table in different ways. They will explain the relationship between adjacent multiples of 5 and how 5- and 10-times tables are related.

- Pictogram: A pictogram is a graph that uses pictures to represent information.
- Tally: A tally is a count of something. Tally marks are used to keep count and these are grouped in groups of 5 using a specific pattern.

- Pupils may misunderstand the contexts or language within worded problems and therefore not understand the calculation required to solve.
