The Bible: what does it say about God's promises?
In this unit pupils begin to explore the idea of covenant using a theological lens. They learn the story of Abraham and also look at other key stories in the Torah and Old Testament that talk about promises between God and humans.
You will learn to explain why the covenant with Abraham is still important to Christians today.
God made a covenant with Abraham, as he did with Noah. He promised Abraham and Sarah a son, even though they were very old.
