Year 3 - Computing
Organising data using databases
This unit develops pupils' knowledge of what a branching database is and how to create one. They will use yes/no questions to gain an understanding of what attributes are and how to use them to sort groups of objects. Pupils will create an identification tool using a branching database.
You will learn to create questions that have yes/no answers.
Some questions can only have yes or no answers. Questions can be made up about a specific group of objects.
something that is uniquely identifiable and has attributes. Add one real device or system example to prove understanding.
Mistake: Objects can only be grouped in one way. Correction: Objects can be grouped in multiple ways using different attributes to create groups.
