2D shapes to 3D products: stationery storage
This unit develops pupils' knowledge and joining techniques when working with woven fabrics. Pupils test and select recycled fabric for functionality. They will use templates and decorative techniques to make a stationery storage product.
You will learn to test and select different fabrics to meet the needs of the user.
Fabrics need to be carefully chosen for the product. Fabrics can be waterproof.

Mistake: All products made for use in or around water need to be waterproof. Correction: Clothing used for swimming ie, trunks, costumes, shorts and wetsuits, are not waterproof.
