Year 4 - Computing
The internet
In this unit pupils will recognise the internet as a network of networks. They will learn that the World Wide Web is part of the internet. They will evaluate online content to decide how honest, accurate, or reliable it is, and understand the consequences of false information.
You will learn to outline how websites or the World Wide Web are shared via the internet.
Digital media can be shared on the World Wide Web. Websites have addresses beginning with www.
content such as images that can be stored and viewed on a computer. Add one real device or system example to prove understanding.
Mistake: Everything can be shared over the internet (including physical objects). Correction: You can share digital media and sell physical items on the internet but you cannot pass a physical item through the computer.
