In this unit pupils will be introduced to the Sikh worldview through a depth study of Guru Nanak. They will understand the role of a guru as a teacher and through stories of his life understand how he remains an inspiration to Sikhs today.
You will learn to understand Guru Nanak's teaching on serving others and not focusing on money.
Guru Nanak teaches that helping others is the real way to feel happy, not by having lots of money. Being kind and caring is better than just trying to get money.
