Health and wellbeing: stamina, strength and flexibility
This unit will teach pupils the meaning of strength, flexibility and the cardiovascular elements of fitness. Pupils will perform cardio, flexibility and strength focused circuits developing their own fitness and enhance their understanding of the importance of healthy active lifestyles.
You will learn to perform a range of fitness related activities and identify areas of fitness that you can do well and where you need to improve.
Move: taking part in activities that build fitness gives us awareness of our personal fitness and what can be improved. Think: reflecting on our fitness during fitness challenges is important to help recognise our fitness improvements.

Mistake: Your fitness is fixed and cannot be changed. Correction: Fitness can improve slowly and over time. Measuring our fitness only tells us what we can do on that day.
