Game play: game scenarios

Striking and fielding games: striking and fielding skills through cricket

Unit Summary

Key Notes

  • Move: we can adjust shots by moving our body position and angle of the bat to strike the ball in different directions.
  • Move: striking the ball so that we aim low and hard reduces the chances of fielders catching us out.
  • Think: evaluating the opposition helps us to identify strengths and weaknesses so we can adapt our tactics in the game.
  • Feel: striving to always try our best and win the game shows we are leading and taking responsibility for our team.
  • Connect: in a game situation, we should always strive to encourage others, so our team is motivated within the game.
