In this unit pupils will discover how to create websites for a chosen purpose. They will identify what makes a good webpage and use this information to design and evaluate their own website. Pupils will consider copyright and fair use of media, the aesthetics of the site, and clear navigation.
You will learn to add suitable content to a web page and check its compatibility on a range of devices.
Content is the information on a web page. Content can be text, images and movies. Content added to a web page should be suitable for the audience and purpose of the web page.

Mistake: A website will look the same on any device that it is accessed from. Correction: A website will look different on different devices. This is because they have different screen sizes. Checking a website is compatible for multiple devices is important.
