Art movements
Pupils will analyse and critique a selection of western art movements and understand their wider historical relevance. Pupils will engage with practical tasks to gain an understanding of the defining techniques and materials used as well as writing a manifesto.
You will learn to use a range of techniques and materials to explore different artistic disciplines.
Artists make art using many different materials and techniques. We call this an artistic discipline. Artists and movements can generate work in different disciplines, often using similar characteristics.
