You will learn to use the singular forms of the verbs 'venir' and 'sortir' and you can use inversion to ask questions about others in French.

  • 'Je viens', 'tu viens' and 'il, elle vient' are singular forms of the -ir verb 'venir'.
  • 'Je sors', 'tu sors' and 'il, elle sort' are singular forms of the -ir verb 'sortir'.
  • For a 'yes/no' or closed inversion question in French, swap the subject and the verb (e.g. Sors-tu ce soir ?)
