Art for life: expression and belonging
Pupils will explore how creative making can support health and wellbeing through personal expression and use art for self-discovery. Inspired by artistic practice they will investigate art as a tool for transformation and connection, using memories and reflections to support a sense of belonging.
You will learn to reflect on your identity and choose imagery to create an assemblage.
Art can be used as a tool for expressing inner emotions and identity. Assemblage is art that is made by assembling separate elements, often everyday objects, together.

Mistake: Memories cannot be used to express a person's identity. Correction: Memories play a key role in shaping who we are as they help us understand our past, influence how we view ourselves and guide how we express our identity over time.
