Health and wellbeing: the effects of exercise
This unit will teach pupils to identify changes in their heartbeat and breathing when they exercise. Pupils will begin to understand how exercise makes them feel both physically and mentally. Pupils will develop their knowledge of the positive impact exercise has on our bodies and lifestyles.
You will learn to challenge myself and can work with others to have fun when exercising.
Move: moving throughout the circuit activities will increase my heartbeat and breathing. Think: keeping moving and working hard, supports our body and mind, helping us to complete the challenges successfully.
a test of ability or skill.
Mistake: Pupils may think that success is only achieved by winning and being the best. Correction: Success can be achieved in lots of different ways. You can be successful by improving your own performance (regardless of anyone else's performance), setting yourself a challenge and reaching a new target or working in cooperation with others.
