Textile Design
This is a teacher led unit which introduces to pupils to the skills within their endorsements. Through a series of workshop activities, students experiment with a range of materials and techniques. They develop a range of studies exploring mark making media, print and mixed media.
You will learn to draw, paint and print your design using colour mixing on a silkscreen.
Painting onto the silkcreen will only produce one, singular print not multiple prints. The silkscreen technique allows versatility to produce an art piece or a wearable piece.

Mistake: You can make multiple identical prints from one hand painted silkscreen. Correction: It will only produce one singular print.
