In this unit pupils will learn about specific practices in Islam such as prayer and festivals such as Id ul-Fitr. They will compare Sunni and Shi'a understandings of these practices noting similarities and differences.
You will learn to explain what the Night of Power is and how it is celebrated by Muslims today.
The Night of Power is celebrated during the last ten nights of Ramadan. The Night of Power is also known as Layat al Qadr.
