Marriage and the family
In this unit pupils will examine issues around sexuality, the family and relationships. They will study how Christians and other worldviews understand ideas of family and marriage and address how these affect views on issues such as divorce.
You will learn to explain what gender prejudice and discrimination are and how denominations differ on gender roles in worship.
Prejudice refers to the negative thoughts a person may have about another person based on a characteristic they have. Prejudice can lead to actions which are known as discrimination.
