Energy of moving particles
This unit covers energy changes in systems due to heating, forces, and electrical work. It explains reducing energy transfer via insulation, specific heat capacity, and latent heat. Emphasis is on calculations, planning experiments, data interpretation, and evaluating methods.
You will learn to explain how a material's specific heat capacity describes how easily it is heated or how much energy it transfers as it cools.
