This teacher-led unit deepens pupils' skills within endorsements. Through short workshop activities, pupils further explore a range of materials and techniques. They develop studies focused on the elements and principles of art in practice.
You will learn to explain and apply casting stages to create a small sculpture, experimenting with materials and finishes.
Different casting materials offer various textures, finishes, weights and durability. Stages in model making: mouldmaking, casting, curing and finishing all require focus to ensure accuracy and quality.
