Year 11 - Design and technology
Core principles
In this unit pupils will develop core principles knowledge with an explicit focus on exam technique.
You will learn to use electronic components to design and test electronic circuits.
Voltage, current and resistance are the key concepts when designing electronic systems. Input, process and output components are used to construct electronic systems.
the relationship between voltage, current and resistance.
Mistake: Components all work however they are positioned in a circuit. Correction: Some components are polarised and only work if they are the correct way round.
