Unit Summary

This unit begins formal revision, with known grammar and vocabulary reactivated throughout. Pupils apply knowledge of regular and irregular verbs in the present, perfect and imperfect tenses, reflexive verbs, feminine and plural noun formations as well as revisiting articles and pronouns.

You will learn to understand a range of different pronouns describing different people's and places' roles in the history of Quebec.

  • Direct object pronouns are: 'me', 'te', 'le'/'la'/'l'', 'nous', 'vous' and 'les'. They precede the verb.
  • Indirect object pronouns are: 'me', 'te', 'lui', 'nous', 'vous' and 'leur'. They precede the verb.
  • 'Moi', 'toi', 'lui', 'elle', 'nous', 'vous', 'eux', 'elles' are used as emphatic pronouns.
