  • All of the letters start on the ascender line except for the letter S which starts just below the ascender line.
  • Letters A, H, K and T all have either one or two vertical or diagonal lines going down to the baseline.
  • Letters A, H, K and T all need the pencil to be lifted to form the horizontal or diagonal lines.
  • You do not lift your pencil when forming the letter S.
