The world: how do different people explain how it started?
In this unit pupils will be introduced to the different explanations that people have for the origin of the world. They will learn the creation stories common to Christians, Jews and Muslims as well as how humanists explain the origin of the universe.
You will learn to explain some Muslim beliefs about creation.
Muslims share parts of a story about creation with Jews and Christians. Muslims believe that God does not rest in the creation story.

Mistake: The Muslim creation story is exactly the same as stories told by Jews and Christians. Correction: There are some similar ideas about creation and some differences.
