The world: how do different people explain how it started?
In this unit pupils will be introduced to the different explanations that people have for the origin of the world. They will learn the creation stories common to Christians, Jews and Muslims as well as how humanists explain the origin of the universe.
You will learn to retell a story about beginnings told by Jews and Christians.
The creation story is at the beginning of the Bible and the Torah. It is a shared story between Christians and Jews.

Mistake: Only Christians have a creation story about the six days. Correction: The same story in the book of Genesis is shared by Jews and Christians.
