This unit will teach pupils how to apply their skills of siding an object accurately into a variety of competitive games. In order to outwit their opponents, pupils will have to think tactically about where and why they are aiming in order to score points.
You will learn to apply the correct technique for throwing underarm to score points and beat an opponent.
Move: stepping forwards with the opposite foot and swinging your arm from low to high enables accurate shots. Think: making effective decisions about which target to aim for requires tactical thinking.

Mistake: When throwing underarm, you step forward with the same foot to throwing arm. Correction: When throwing underarm, you should step forward with your opposite foot to throwing arm.
