Spirituality: How do music and silence express beliefs?
In this unit pupils will examine the role of music and silence within Christianity, Muslim and Sikh worldviews. They will investigate how music is used differently within worldviews, and how worldviews may have different attitudes to the use of music and silence.
You will learn to explain how Christians might use music in their worship.
For many Christians, music is a means of connecting with God. Christians may use words from the Bible or their own words to create songs for worship.

Mistake: Christians only sing words from the Bible. Correction: Christians sing words from the Bible, and other song lyrics based on their beliefs and experiences.
