In this unit pupils will explain the relationship between multiples of 3 and multiples of 9 and use it, along with the tests of divisibility for the 3-, 6- and 9-times tables, to solve problems.
You will learn to solve problems using divisibility rules for divisors of 3 and 6.
For a number to be divisible by three, the dgit sum of the number must be a divisible by 3. For a number to be divisible by 6, it must be divisible by both 2 and 3.
