Outdoor adventurous activities: solving problems
The unit of work will develop pupils' ability to apply effective teamwork through different problem-solving challenges. Throughout the unit, there will be a focus on pupils' ability to apply skills essential to working within a team as well as creating and applying effective tactics together.
You will learn to cooperate with a partner to score points.
Move: making and holding a shape requires body tension, balance and coordination. Think: a successful team adapts and experiments with ideas to improve performance.

Mistake: Pupils can only stand when making letter shapes. Pupils create letter shapes back to front or they face the wrong way when they are showing others. Correction: Pupils can use a range of body parts and lie, sit or stand to make letter shapes. Stress the importance of reading letters from left to right.
