Year 5 - Design and technology
CAD structures: architecture
This unit introduces 3D Computer Aided Design to pupils. They will investigate modern architects to understand the techniques and materials they use in sustainable housing. They will develop knowledge of TinkerCAD to design and present a model sustainable house.
You will learn to make and manipulate objects to create a complex 3D design in Tinkercad.
Compound shapes can be reflected using the Mirror tool. 3D shapes can be aligned accurately using the Align tools.
