Health and wellbeing: stamina, strength and flexibility refined
The unit of work will consolidate pupils' understanding of strength, flexibility and the cardiovascular elements of fitness. Pupils will focus on enhancing their own fitness and understanding the importance of taking ownership of their own health and wellbeing in order to lead healthy active lives.
You will learn to recognise success and strive to achieve personal bests in different components of fitness.

Mistake: Some pupils might think they will only be successful if they can achieve all the activities at the most challenging level. Correction: Everybody is different and success is different for everyone. Anyone who tries their best and gives maximum effort should feel successful, regardless of the level of challenge they completed.
