This unit of work will challenge pupils to consistently develop effective attacking and defensive skills and be able to apply these in a variety of game based scenarios. Pupils will create and apply tactics in games, adapting them as the game situation changes, in order to beat the opposition.
You will learn to apply a range of attacking skills at the right time as the possession scenario changes.
Move: using attacking skills consistently at the right time enables our team to score points in a range of scenarios. Think: knowing when, where and why to use each attacking skill requires decision making and enables scoring chances.

Mistake: Pupils focus only on winning instead of adapting their tactics to the game scenario. Correction: Ensure pupils have time to plan their tactics in each scenario and highlight effective team work.
