In this unit pupils examine what community means and the role it plays at their school. They explore what charities and NGOs do in their community and identify how they can become active citizens.
You will learn to explain what community cohesion is and why it is necessary for change.
Community cohesion is when communities work together to achieve shared goals or values. Community cohesion allows everyone, despite their differences, to have equal opportunities in life.
