How can we make a difference in our communities?
In this unit pupils examine what community means and the role it plays at their school. They explore what charities and NGOs do in their community and identify how they can become active citizens.
You will learn to explain the contribution charities, NGOs and groups make in our community.
Charities address community needs, focusing on helping people, the environment and animals. NGOs offer humanitarian aid, support vulnerable groups and advocate for social change.
