This unit explores correct bodyweight techniques and training for strength, power, endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination. Pupils learn to adapt exercises, stay safe and understand the physical, mental and social benefits of activity.
You will learn to complete a flow training session to improve flexibility, mobility and mindfulness.
Move: smooth transitions between different body positions rely on body awareness. Think: joints and muscles need to be warm before working them through their full range of movement.
