This unit will deepen pupils' understanding of the concept of Prophethood in the Abrahamic traditions. Using a theological lens, pupils will investigate the ancestral stories that form a point of connection between Christians, Jews and Muslims. They will analyse similarities and differences.
You will learn to explain diversity in the story and status of Adam across the Abrahamic religions.
Across all Abrahamic faiths, Adam is considered the first man. The story of creation is almost identical in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
