This unit will apply a wider range of tactics and strategies through football. Increasingly complex approaches to attack and strategies to defend will be applied whilst enhancing knowledge of the rules and tactics specific to football. Pupils will also work on their organisational skills.
You will learn to work with teammates to outwit the goalkeeper and defenders.
Move: very little follow through is applied when chipping the ball to reduce power whilst maximising lift. Think: quick decisions and applying tactics increases our chances of scoring goals.

Mistake: Pupils struggle to make quick decisions and perform skills correctly when defenders are present and adding pressure. Correction: Remind players to scan before receiving the ball. Use mini games or time limits in tasks so pupils are used to performing under pressure.
