In this unit, pupils will develop brush control and knowledge of paint colours, techniques & processes. They will experiment with mixing and applying colours in visual contexts, for creative effects and to solve problems. They will use a variety of techniques to create a seasonal triptych.
You will learn to mix purple and blend it into tints and shades.
We are able to mix a range of purples using primary colours. Artists can mix colours on paper using blending.

Mistake: Paint can only be mixed in a paint palette. Correction: Paint can be mixed in a paint palette, but it can also be mixed on paper to create a blend.
