Use of data
This unit supports pupils to be able to demonstrate an understanding of how both qualitative and quantitative data are collected, presented and analysed to include tables and graphs.
You will learn to describe how data is collected and use various methods to present and plot data.
Bar charts are plotted by labelling the vertical and the horizontal axis. Bar charts are drawn with equal width and start from zero on the vertical axis.
a measurement which can be quantified as a number.; there is no expressed opinion; it is a fact.
Mistake: Graphs in exam questions will have the x and y axes labelled. Correction: One of the skills assessed in GCSE PE exam questions is to label the x and y axes, as well as plot data and present as the method requested by the question.
