In this unit pupils will begin their study of Christianity by examining some of the key beliefs of this worldview. They will focus on concepts of God, Trinity, Creation and the story and role of Jesus as incarnation and means of salvation.
You will learn to explain Christian beliefs about the resurrection and ascension of Jesus including the importance and influence of these beliefs today.
The resurrection refers to Jesus coming back to life after his crucifixion. The Gospels state that Jesus' tomb was found empty, with differing accounts of his first appearance.
